Parent Teacher Association (PTA)
At Greasby Junior School, our Parent Teacher Association (PTA) is a cornerstone of our vibrant school community. Made up of dedicated parents, carers and staff, the PTA works closely with the school to enrich every child’s experience and create a strong sense of belonging.
What We Do
The PTA organises a wide range of events throughout the school year, including:
- Half-termly discos
- Seasonal fairs
- Chocolate Bingo nights
- Other fun and inclusive activities
These events not only provide enjoyment for our pupils, but also help bring families together while raising valuable funds.
How Funds Are Used
All money raised by the PTA goes straight back into the school. Thanks to the generosity and support of our families, the PTA has been able to fund a range of exciting projects – from major investments such as the development of our computer suite, to smaller enhancements like playground equipment, musical instruments, and classroom resources.
Every contribution helps us offer more to our children – enriching their learning, play and wellbeing.
Get Involved
Whether you can spare a little time or a lot, your support is always welcome. Helping out with events, joining a planning meeting or simply spreading the word all makes a difference. It’s also a great way to meet other parents and become more involved in school life.
To find out more or get involved, you can email the PTA directly at pta@greasby-junior.wirral.sch.uk.
The PTA also uses WhatsApp groups to share updates and coordinate events. If you’d like to be added to a PTA WhatsApp group, please email the PTA or contact the school office and we’ll be happy to arrange this.
Together, we can make a real difference.
