Rather than simply learning about the world, our pupils explore it with curiosity and purpose. At Greasby Junior School, geography is taught through a carefully designed curriculum that encourages enquiry, environmental awareness and global thinking.
From investigating land use around the River Mersey to analysing trade and climate zones in the Americas, each unit builds both locational knowledge and critical skills like fieldwork, data interpretation, and map reading.
We combine real-world relevance with academic rigour, helping pupils understand the connections between people and places and fostering a sense of responsibility as global citizens.
